Reed was born in Tampa, Florida and raised in Tallahassee until attending The Citadel on a football scholarship. He began his career working for Davis Water and Waste Industries in Georgia and was soon transferred to Northern California to work with an acquisition. In 1994 Reed purchased a small utility distribution center in the San Francisco Bay Area and, over the course of 25 years, built it into one of the largest privately held utility distribution businesses in the United States. Reed sold his business “R&B Company” to Core and Main and retained ownership of the real estate portfolio he built throughout the expansion of R&B Co.
Reed moved back to Florida in 2019 to be closer to family and start Mack V, a real estate investment and development company based in Palm Beach County.
John received his Bachelor of Design from the College of Architecture, University of Florida. In order to scratch his creative itch he moved to Los Angeles to work in Set and Production Design for the television/film industry working on “The X-Files”, “Dawson’s Creek” and “Cold Case” to name a few. After renovating his own homes in Los Angeles, John fell in love with construction. He joined the high-end construction industry and pivoted to Construction Project Management building exclusive estates and wineries in Malibu, Beverly Hills, San Francisco and throughout Napa and Sonoma counties. John later served as Operations Manager for California based start-up, Connect Homes, partnering with a Manufacturing Engineer to develop an assembly line for modern modular homes streamlining construction techniques. John has a keen interest in architectural restoration and adaptive re-use projects and excited to be back in Florida.
Lauren relocated to West Palm Beach in 2021 to build Mack V alongside her father and uncle. After completing her Strategic Communications: Advertising degree from the University of Colorado Boulder in 2019, she moved to Los Angeles to work for OMD, a global media planning network. Her prior experience in marketing, project management and data analysis made for an easy shift to real estate where she enjoys having a hand in several aspects of the business including investment analysis and leasing.
John Crowley, originally from Wisconsin, comes from a strong background in marketing, communications, and philanthropic outreach. John was drawn to South Florida through his experiences working alongside honorable men at the National Navy UDT-SEAL Museum. Up until joining the Mack V team, John began his career in West Palm Beach working in marketing and public relations for one of the most prominent American voices in broadcast media. John also has received a certificate from the Cornell Real Estate program in the SC Johnson College of Business to enhance his skills in real estate development, management, and investment analysis. John is committed to applying his gregarious personality and wide skillset to nurture the long-term growth of Mack V not only in real estate but also in various other business ventures.
Paula has joined the Mack V team all the way from Guayaquil, Ecuador. From a young age, she assisted in her father’s accounting firm back home and she now assists Mack V with bookkeeping, invoicing, and office management. Paula is self-taught in English and her first language is Spanish, allowing us to better handle requests from Spanish speaking clients and vendors. She is excited for the opportunity with Mack V and always eager to learn more.
Bryan Fitzwater is a man of many talents. He is our head of Facilities Management, IT, and any task that needs to be done right and on time. Bryan resided in the California Bay Area for over 30 years where he was the IT Director at Reed’s former company, R&B Co. After the sale of R&B, he made the big move to South Florida to assist Reed Mack in the formation of Mack V. Bryan has an in-depth knowledge of the entire construction process and has a passion for building and design. Bryan is also a Veteran having served in the United States Navy.
Captain Cholly Keintz assists with keeping the Mack V properties in tip-top shape. In addition to his work at Mack V, he is the Captain for Pipe Dream II, a 65’HCB Estrella Center Console Yacht. Quite literally starting from the bottom, he began by scrubbing hulls and detailing boats. Cholly then continued paying his dues aboard the Svengali program, a 103-foot custom sport fish along side a 52-foot Viking tender. Through hard work, he earned the title of Captain aboard a 42-foot Boston Whaler until grasping the reigns on Pipe Dream II. Captain Cholly is a devout conservationist and outdoorsman who believes Mother Earth can provide all the necessities for a fulfilled life.
Reed McCord was born and raised in Tallahassee, Florida before becoming a Rebel, earning his undergraduate degree at the University of Mississippi in Oxford, MS. After completing his degree he worked in insurance and finance in New York City and Austin, Texas. After getting his fill of the big city and live music, Reed returned to his native roots in Florida in 2022 to work alongside his cousins at Mack V. He is attaining an Accounting Certificate from Cornell University and is excited to learn the ins and outs of the real estate business.
